Edit, align and mix several audio tracks, right in the browser
Load your tracks onto a waveform timeline, split clips at the playhead, trim and shift them, apply a voice EQ per track, cut long pauses, set the loudness and export as MP3 192 kbps or lossless. Nothing is uploaded.
Your file never leaves this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
Drop audio tracks here
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC, WebM and more. Up to 500 MB per track, 8 tracks at most.
Cut, align and finish in one tab
When an intro starts too early, a guest claps two seconds late or a cough needs cutting out, a plain mixer is not enough. This editor puts every track on a shared timeline: drag or type the start time, trim the ends, split a clip at the playhead and delete the part you do not want, then listen to the live preview.
Each track has its own volume, mute and voice EQ preset. On export, ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly can shorten long pauses and normalize the finished mix to -16, -14 or -23 LUFS in the same run, on your device.
How to use it
#howLoad your tracks
Drop up to 8 audio files (500 MB per track) onto the box. Each track appears on the timeline with its waveform.
Split, trim and shift on the timeline
Move the playhead and split a clip to cut out a section, drag a clip left or right to align speakers, or enter the exact start and trim seconds.
Set voice EQ, loudness and export
Pick a voice EQ per track, optionally shorten long pauses and normalize the mix to -16 LUFS, preview it live and export as MP3 192 kbps, M4A, Opus, FLAC or WAV.
What is built in
#features| Control | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Timeline position and drag | Per clip | Shifts when a clip starts in the episode so tracks line up. |
| Trim start and end | Per clip | Cuts the beginning or tail of a clip without touching the rest. |
| Split at playhead and delete | Per clip | Divides a clip into two pieces so a mistake in the middle can be removed. |
| Volume, mute and voice EQ | Per track | Sets the level and applies the male, female or neutral voice EQ preset. |
| Silence remover and LUFS | Finished mix | Shortens pauses over 0.7 s to 0.4 s and normalizes to -16, -14 or -23 LUFS. |
Tips for a clean edit
#tips- Use the live preview to check the timing before you export; the export runs the full ffmpeg chain.
- Split before and after a cough or false start, select the middle piece and delete it.
- Apply the voice EQ only to spoken tracks, and leave music tracks on Off.
- Choose Podcast (-16 LUFS) when exporting the final episode so every host gets a consistent level.
What happens to your files
#privacyThe files are read, previewed with Web Audio and rendered by your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. They are not sent to Airtape or any other server, and they are not stored. You can check this in your browser's network tab: no request carries your files.
The export engine is about 30 MB. Your browser downloads it the first time you export and then keeps it, so later exports start right away. Tracks are limited to 500 MB each because a browser has limited memory.
