Airtape was built from a creator perspective rather than a generic meeting software perspective. The goal was to make remote recording feel dependable, high quality, and respectful of the person doing the work. That means better defaults, fewer distractions, and a workflow built around what actually matters after the call ends: usable tracks and a clean production process.

The company story matters because the product decisions reflect it. Airtape focuses on recording quality, privacy, browser-based simplicity, and practical features that help hosts publish. It is deliberately not trying to become a bloated all-purpose communication suite.
